This map shows the thousand most recent instances of burglary, robbery, theft, narcotics, assault, battery, kidnapping, prostition, and homicide in Chicago, Illinois (not including the last seven days). Murders are not included if data exists for each victim. I am using data collected by the Chicago Police Department's Crime API as well as maps by Mapbox.
